Lucknow JPNIC: An uproar broke out in Uttar Pradesh over the celebration of the birth anniversary of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan. SP workers created a ruckus when SP President Akhilesh Yadav was stopped from going to Jai Prakash Narayan International Center (JPNIC). Faizabad (Ayodhya) MP Awadesh Prasad’s reaction has come to light on this controversy, he has called it a stain on the country’s independence.
On this matter, Samajwadi Party MP from Faizabad, Awadhesh Prasad said, “What could be more unfortunate than that people who gave independence to this country are being prevented from garlanding the statues, they are being covered up. This is a threat to the freedom and democracy of the country.” There is a stigma on the forehead which the Samajwadi Party will not tolerate at any cost.”
Awadhesh Prasad said – a stain on freedom
SP MP Awadhesh Prasad said- “The kind of atmosphere BJP is creating in this country is a stain on the independence of the country. I do not want to say much because we are in alliance with Congress, but when there is ’emergency’ in the country. ‘ was implemented, then on the appeal of Jai Prakash Narayan, lakhs of students joined that movement and we also joined it and also went to jail.”
Awadhesh Prasad further said that the Samajwadi Party built that memorial in the honor of Jai Prakash Narayan so that the new generation could be inspired. He is a source of inspiration not only for the people of Samajwadi Party but for the entire country. We will struggle and make sacrifices under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav. In protest against this incident, there have been clashes between SP workers and the police from the capital Lucknow to Prayagraj.
